This is a description of Jonathan Rogers teaching for Bible/Mission training schools, in particular Youth With A Mission schools, but other ministries as well.

Biblical Worldview

Day 1, “Glory to God”
We cover what a “Worldview” is and how it effects the way you interpret everything around you. Conclude with how even our supposed “Christian” worldview could be a false one, twisted by the philosophy of the day. Ultimately a Biblical Worldview says that all of life is to give glory to God.

Day 2, “Worldviews & Absolutes”
Look at the effects of a Worldview in more detail and how it is based on foundational beliefs that we must check with the Bible. We go through 7 key questions to establishing a Worldview, and what the Biblical answer are to these compared to other worldviews.

Day 3, “God at War”
We look at World Missions and our Destiny as soldiers of God, from a standpoint of seeing the world in spiritual warfare as the Bible describes it. We realize the reality of the world and what God calls us to do in it. This gives us meaning and purpose outside of ourselves.

Day 4, “God’s Calling”
Continuing with God’s purpose in our lives, we examine what that means specifically to each of our lives. What is a calling? What’s the difference between callings and “gifts”? What must we do to fulfill our callings? Are we wasting our gifts that God has given us, or are we using them to give glory back to Him?

Day 5, “Judas had a Throne”
On the final day we examine Post Modernisms effects on our cultures and on our own Worldview. We look at how this can fool us when we compare Peter and Judas. Judas thought he knew better then Jesus and made his own plans to push Jesus into action. Don’t let your plans get in the way of God’s plans.
